Five people were injured Sunday evening when a tour bus collided with a car in San Bernardino County, authorities said.
About 6:50 p.m., a bus and a white Dodge Charger collided near the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Linden Avenue in Bloomington, according to the California Highway Patrol.
One person had moderate-to-major injuries and four people sustained minor injuries, said Tracey Martinez, a San Bernardino County Fire Department spokeswoman.
Authorities initially said nine people were injured but later lowered that figure.
At least one person had to be extricated from one of the vehicles, according to the county Fire Department.
Firefighters from the nearby Fontana Fire Department helped rescue those injured in the crash.
