Receiver Nelson Agholor caught a career-best three touchdown passes in USC's 56-28 victory over Colorado on Saturday at the Coliseum.
Agholor scored the Trojans' first two touchdowns on passes of 16 and 18 yards from quarterback Cody Kessler, who established a school record with seven touchdown passes.
Agholor also scored early in the third quarter on a 75-yard pass play.
"Cody did an amazing job finding guys," Agholor said. "We all did our part getting open."
Agholor finished with six catches for 128 yards. He has 48 receptions this season, seven for touchdowns.
Allen in a rush
Tailback Javorius Allen rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown, the sixth time in seven games he has eclipsed 100 yards.
Allen scored on a 39-yard run late in the third quarter to give USC a 56-21 lead.
Allen was coming off a career-best 205-yard rushing effort against Arizona.
The junior from Florida has rushed for 909 yards and eight touchdowns.
Mitchell steps up
Receiver Steven Mitchell caught his first touchdown pass, a 24-yard strike from Kessler in the third quarter.
Mitchell, a redshirt freshman, sat out last season after suffering a knee injury during summer workouts.
He was slowed during training camp because of a sports hernia that required two procedures.
The touchdown was Mitchell's second reception of the season.
Cravens makes play
Linebacker Su'a Cravens got his second interception of the season in the first quarter to help set up the Trojans' second touchdown.
"I didn't think their quarterback was going to throw," said Cravens, who returned the interception 16 yards, "but their quarterback [Sefo Liufau] looked up and pumped.
"Luckily, I caught it and I should have scored."
Cravens, who has six career interceptions, finished with two tackles.
Seymour shines
Cornerback Kevon Seymour intercepted a pass in the second quarter to help set up a touchdown.
Liufau attempted a pass down the right sideline and safety Gerald Bowman hit receiver Bryce Bobo just as he reached for the ball. The ball bounced to Seymour, who returned it 23 yards.
It was Seymour's first interception this season, the second of his career.
Plattenburg starts
Freshman John Plattenburg started at safety, becoming the fifth first-year player to start for the Trojans this season.
Plattenburg made eight tackles, but gave up a third-quarter touchdown pass to receiver Shay Fields.
Freshmen offensive linemen Damien Mama and Viane Talamaivao, receiver JuJu Smith and cornerback Adoree' Jackson also have started for the Trojans.
Jackson plays little
Jackson, who suffered a hip-flexor injury last week against Arizona, played sparingly against Colorado.
Jackson returned the opening kickoff 15 yards but was flipped when he tried to hurdle a tackler. He played only a few snaps on defense.
Coach Steve Sarkisian said Bowman suffered a foot injury, and receiver George Farmer and fullback Soma Vainuku did not play because of hamstring injuries.
