Chuck Noll, who coached the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl victories, died Friday at his home in Sewickley, Pa. He was 82.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Noll's wife, Marianne, found him unresponsive at 9:45 p.m. ET and called 911. Paramedics pronounced Noll dead 10 minutes later.
Noll reportedly had been under doctor's care for an undisclosed illness.
A cornerstone of one of the most successful dynasties in sports, Noll coached the Steelers for 23 seasons, from 1969-91, collecting four Super Bowl rings in the 1970s.
Noll was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1993.
